Robert E. McQuillan was the only son and fourth child of John and Mary McCauley McQuillan. He worked as a car inspector for the Jersey Central railroad. He had also worked at Eastern Piece Dye Works (note his cousin Warren had worked there as well).
Robert died of a heart attack after returning home from bowling.
Robert was a member of Immaculate Conception church, the Slovak Hall and Slovak Bowling League.
