Came to Boston in ship "Blassing" 1635 at age of 24 accompanied by his brother Peter Turner. He was a shoemaker. Lieut. in A&H Artil. Co. of Mass. He owned a ketch named "Blessing". Owned much real estate and when he died he left a very large estate. He had a son-in-law named John Fayerweather. May be related to John Turner of London who defended Hugh Peters in his trial for treason.
