Robert Hugh Winram who, according to a family bible entry, was born in Edinburgh 15 Dec 1814, emigrated to the USA in 1834 and appears in the 1840 Ohio census as Windram. British Isles VRI show a Robert Windram born 12 Sep 1815 and christened 9 Oct 1815 (per VRI & OPR) at Chirnside, Berwick, the son of James Windram and Janet Lidgate.
A Robert Windram of Ohio served in the Civil War in the 105th Regiment, Ohio Infantry, but not proven that it is this Robert.
