Roger de Clifford was born circa 1243 at Clifford Castle, Herefordshire, England.2 He was the son of Roger de Clifford and Hawise Botterell.2 He married Isabel de Vipont, daughter of Robert de Vipont and Isabel FitzJohn, in 1269 at Clifford Castle, Herefordshire, England.2 He died on 6 November 1282 at Menai Strait, Anglesey, Wales.1
