He made his will 6 November 1509. It was proved 23 February 1509/10. (PCC 26 Bennett) Among many other bequests in his will, he left to the church at Tangmere: "To the high altar, for my tithes forgoten, 12d. . . . a cowe, for to fynde 3 tapers . . . the profittes of half an acre of arable land lying at the Gaston Gate in Tangmer goo to the fynding of a lamp burning before the image of our Blessed Lady of Tangmer." He mentioned his sons Roger, William, George, and Edmund, daughters Joan, Clemence, Dorothy, and Elizabeth. He also mentions his wife Anne.
