Col. John Cushing's regiment, serving in the Burgoyne campaign. He served

as corporal under Capt. Reuben Sibley, 1780, in Rhode Island. He was born

in Worcester, Mass., and was a pensioner from Mt. Vernon, Ohio, where he


from: -------------------- Mr. Ward enlisted in the Revolutionary War in 1776 at the age of 17. By trade, he was a farmer and cooper.
