R. Lavon Hallett Livingston , 1923 - 2007 .

Ruth LaVon H. Livingston , 83 , passed away August 3 , 2007 . Born 22, August, 1923 in SLC, to Suzanna Louise Crowther and Harold Levi Hallett . Graduated from West High School . Married Meno Lynn Livingston Sr. August 29 1940 . Later solemnised in the SL Temple . laVon worked for Rio Grande Railroad as a PBX operator , and over 25 years with Utah Power . She was an active member of the LDS Church . Preceded in death by : husband ; parents, brother , Harold Hallett "Jim" , sister Helen Tomlinson and grandson Michael Livingston.

Survived by children : M. Lynn (Sharon) Livingston , Sharon Owen , Byron (Mary) Livingston ; 14 grandchildren , and 31 great-grandchildren .

Special thanks to family , especially Stephanie and Vance Wunderly and to Caresource Hospice for their exceptional care .

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9 , 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Rose Park Stake Certer, 760 North , 1200 West . Friends may visit Wednesday evening 6 - 8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary , 260 East South Temple and Thursday morning at the stake center from 9.45 -10.45 a.m. prior to services .
