Daughter of Thomas Foster and Elizabeth Forster Rhoads. Wife of William Daylor. Married on March 4, 1847 by Alcalde John Sinclair in his office at the confluence of the American and Feather Rivers (known now as Discovery Park). They honeymooned in their adobe house. William was 37 and Sarah 17. Sarah died in Lemoore while on a vist to her twin, William Baldwin Rhoads, who was ill himself. Both of them died within a week after her arrival. Sarah's body was returned home to Sloughhouse by Catherine Dalton who was also along on the trip.
