About Sarah Young (Malin)
Sarah Malin, the daughter of Elijah Malin, Sr. and Canterine Esseck was born January 10, 1804 in Vincent Township, Pennsylvania.
In the winter of 1838, the Prophet Joseph Smith visited Chester Co. and most of the Malin family accepted the message he brought.
Sarah married Brigham Young in 1848 when she was 44 years old. They were later divorced.
