About Sarah Sparhawke (Whiting)
Sarah Whiting, the daughter of the Rev. Joseph Whiting & Sarah Danforth. Sarah died 8 December 1752 at the age of 84. She married Samuel Sparhawk, son of Nathaniel.

I, JOSEPH WHITING, Minister of the Gospel, of ye town of Southampton, in the County of Suffolk, being sick in body, "Considering the age God hath lengthened out my days into."
