notes

1) - According to e-mail received from Carolyn J. (Crump) Rozelle (erozelle.mail.koyote.com>, former editor of the Crump Newsletter:

ALthough it is tradionally stated that Thomas Crump was the original immigrant to America and that he married Elizabeth Buck, , Carolyn states that she believes that the immigrant was William Crump, who was transported to America when he was about 16 years of age, by Louis Burwell, and was refered to by him as "kinsman." She further states that she believes it was Bridget Buck, the widow of a Richard Crump, who married Thomas Crump.
