He studied in Ulyhely under Yismach Moshe Teitelboum, and Rav Yaacov Schwartz of Brekszász. He became the dayan of Sziget in 1858. He published his third book 1905 containing answers to 224 questions relating to Jewish problems. He was married at least twice, and survied his last wife. In otherwards was a widow himself, and according to my father, it was his grandmother (Efraim -the brothers– wife) who looked after him at his later years.
