About Andrew Kerr, Master of Jedburgh
Son of Sir Andrew Ker of Ferniherst, afterwards Lord Jedburgh. He succeeded Sir Robert Ker of Ancrum, as captain of his Majesty's guard in 1613; was appointed an Extraordinary Lord on the 8th November 1628; and died without issue on the 20th December following.
