Biographical Summary

"Sir Archibald Douglas Drummond-Stewart, Baronet to [S. 1683], of Grandtully, Murtly and Logie Almond aforesaid, yst. 1890. and only surv. br. and h., 6. 29 Aug. 1807 ; suc. to the Baronetcy, 28 April 1871. He m. 4 May 1875, at St. Mary's, Bryanston square, Hester Mary, 1st da. of John Fraser, of Bunchrew, co. Inverness, and Netley Park, co. Surrey. He d. s.p. at Murtly Castle, 20 Sep. 1890, aged 83, when the Baronetcy became extinct. Personalty sworn above £240,000 His widow living 1904."
