About George Auchinleck, 2nd of Balmanno
"Sir George Auchinleck of Balmanno - son of Siw William Auchinleck of Balmanno, and grandson of Sir George Auchinleck of Balmanno, who was a nephew of and favourite of the Regent Morton. He was one of the Commissioners for the shire of Perth in the Parliament of 1617. On the 14th February 1626, he was admitted an Ordinary Lord in place of the Earl of Lauderdale superseded...
