Sir Robert Newcomen, 4th Bt. was the son of Sir Robert Newcomen, 1st Bt. and Catherine Molyneux. He died on 12 August 1677.3

He gained the title of 4th Baronet Newcomen, of Moss Town, co. Longford.

  2. Katharine Newcomen, m. 1st, her first cos., Alexander Stewart, [p. v. p.), and had issue, a s.:—Sir William Stewart, Bart., Viscount Mountjoy.3 She m, 2nd, Arthur Forbes, Bart., Earl of Granard, and had issue.
  3. Jane Newcomen, m. 29th Aug., 1658, Thomas Smithsby, (d. 11th Sept., 1668), and had issue.
