About Thomas Taylor
Thomas Taylor, of the Parke house in the parish of Maidstone, co. Kent, Esq., as also of Shadockhurst in that county, only s. and h. of Thomas Taylor, of Shadockhurst aforesaid, and of Newhall in Linstead, in that county, by his 2d wife, Anne, da. of Sir Thomas Hendley, of Corshorne, co. Kent, was b. in 1630, a year before his father's death, was admitted to Gray's Inn, 5 Nov. 1643, and was cr. a Baronet, as above, 18 Jan. 1664/5. He m. in or before 1657, Elizabeth, da. and h. of George Hall, of Maidstone. He is said to have d. in or soon after 1665 ; admon. not till 20 Aug 1688. His widow m. (Lic. Fac. 23 April 1667), Percy Goring, then of London Esq., widower. Her admon. (the same date as that of her former husband), 20 Aug. 1688.
