About William Egerton
Sir William Egerton was the second son of the 2nd Earl and Countess. He married Honora Leigh, sister of Thomas, Lord Leigh of Stoneleigh. Knight of the Bath 1661. MP for Brackley 1679, Aylesbury 1685 and Brackley 1690-91. Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire 1689 till his death.
