1. Edward (1777 - 17 March 1848) succeeded his father at Somerford; barrister of Middle Temple, acting magistrate and lieutenant Colonel of Yeomanry of Staffordshire; died unmarried aged 70;

2. George (15 Aug 1778 - 29 Dec 1858) of Somerford died aged 90 and interred at Coven;

3. John (21 July 1779 - 14 June 1852) of Fineshade Abbey, Northamptonshire ; died aged 73 and interred at Seaton;

4. Henry (11 Dec 1780 - 29 June 1854) of Stretton Hall; a general in the army; died aged 74, interred in Stretton;

5. Sophia (?1783 - 12 May 1833) unmarried, aged 50;

6. Mary Leonora (1784 - 11 Nov 1791) died aged 7;

7. Leonora (7 Sept 1785 - 17 Sept 1869) of Brewood Hall; died aged 84 and interred in a vault near the east end of the parish church of Brewood;

8. Philip (3 Mar 1787 - 6 Jan 1820) died aged 32 at Goruckpore, East Indies, of which district he was Judge and Magistrate; married Harriette Carter who died 6 Jan 1821; had 3 sons and 2 daughters;

9. Claud (1789 - 12 Aug 1814) unmarried, died aged 25 at Cape of Good Hope and is buried there;

10. Robert (14 Aug 1790 - 29 Mar 1853) died aged 63;

11. Hugh (17 Feb 1792 - 1 Nov 1842) Rector of Seaton, Rutlandshire, died aged 50 and interred at Seaton;

12. Anna Maria Monckton (15 Feb 1794 - 30 June 1878) died aged 84, buried in churchyard at Brewood;

13. William (19 Apr 1796 - 23 Jan 1874) died aged 78, interred at Clifton;

14. Emma Francis Monckton (27 Apr 1800 - 23 Apr 1872) died aged 72, interred at Coven.
