Emigrated to America with his parents and four brothers and sisters on 11 September 1738 on the ship "Robert and Alice."

from Charles Rhodes Roberts "History of Lehigh County:" Adjoining the tract on the east was Stephen Snyder's land, part of which, 85 acres, he purchased from Jacob Yundt in 1750 and 183 acres of it he patented in 1786. He and his wife (who was the daughter of Frederick Newhard), died a week apart in March 1796. Fullerton is located on a part of this land and John Diefenderfer subsequently became the owner of a portion of it.

Stephen Schneider of Whitehall, married Juliana Newhard, the eldest daughter of Frederick Newhard and Maria Margaretta. They both died in 1796. Their children were: Frederick, Henry b. 1758 d. 9 September 1825, Daniel b. 1 February 1766, Peter, Elizabeth Barbara, Salome and Magdalena.

From his will (acc to Kastens, vol. 4, page 20): His lands were previously divided among sons, Frederic, Henry and Peter as the will indicated. Frederic and Henry gave bonds amounting to 550 pounds for the major portion of the home farm, to be equally divided among "my three daughters and my son, Daniel--- having made other (additional) provisions of lands (for) my sons, Frederic, Henry, and Peter. All the rest and residue of my estate (except my two horses and my share in the grain of my son Peter's field), I will that it shall be divided equally among all my seven children, the two horses being given to sons Peter and Daniel, each one. Peter is to have the grain (mentioned above), also my plough with all the irons and horse geers thereto belonging. Sons Daniel and Peter to be executors. (Register's file #1773, Easton, PA)
