About Susannah Stith (Bathurst)

Susannah Bathurst was the daughter of Lancelot Bathurst and wife Susannah Lane. She was born c.1690 in New Kent, Virginia. She married Drury Stith. They had seven children.

Drury Stith was son of Major John Stith, of Charles City county, and patented land in 1703. He was one of the justices of the county (1714), sheriff 1719, 1714-1725, and county surveyor 1720. He was lieutenant-colonel of the militia and in 1704-05 burgess for Charles City county. His will was probated in court in 1741.
