Theophilus Baldwin, son of Barnabas Baldwin and Mary Botsford, was born 1699. He was baptized on October 22, 1699 in Milford. He married with DOROTHY TREAT. He died on August 1, 1784 and is buried at Milford Side Cemetery, Woodbridge, New Haven County, Connecticut. He was a deacon in Society of Amity (now Woodbridge), Connecticut. She died (per her tombstone) on October 10, 1790, aged eighty (but the church record says she died August 1790).
Inscription: "Here lyes the body of Decon THEOPHILUS BALDWIN, aged 85 who departed this life Aug. 1, 1784."

Henry (1734), Theophilus (11/27/1735), Eunice (4/26/1738; m. Jonathan Andrew), Isaac (4/18/1740. Milford record calls him Israel, but that Isaac is the proper name appears from his father's will, and his after history), Alsop (2/1/1741), Mary (12/28/1743; m. Josiah Strong, of Southbury, Connecticut No ch), an Richard (baptized on 12/1/1745).
