The marriage took place quietly on Wednesday at the Catholic Cathedral, Northampton, of Mr. Thomas Shepard, late R.F.C , eldest son Major and Mrs. T. Shepard, late Church Brampton, and Miss Cicely Milligan, second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R. A. Milligan, of Ardmae, Billing-road, Northampton.

The bride, who is tall and fair, looked lovely gown of ivory chiffon velvet opened at the sides over an underskirt of lace. Her train, which hung from her shoulders, was also of chiffon velvet, lined with cloth of silver, and tastefully trimmed with silver bow, white heather, and orange blossom.

Her veil was of tulle exquisitely embroidered, and she carried a shower bouquet of carnations, lilies of the valley, and white heather. She wore a string of pearls, the gift the bridegroom.Miss Sheila Milligan (sister of the bride) wore a charming frock of crepe de chine with double scalloped frills finished at the waist, with sash and bow of scintalline net. She wore a petal hat and shoes to match, and carried shower bouquet of Parma violets.

She wore a wrist watch, the gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Milligan were navy charmeuse gown with touches of cherry red. She had a velvet hat do match, with cherry coloured paradise plume. The gowns and hats were designed and made the Misses Molloy, 31, Abington street.
