Thomas Glennon was in the Royal Irish Constabulary in County Cavan, Ireland, near the Northern Ireland border.

Also Ellen Farrell, Thomas' first wife died due to complications at childbirth to their son Dennis, and that Thomas Glennon subsequently had a second marriage to Maria McKenna Glennon. Thomas and Maria had additional children.

A conversation with Miriam Bolwell Foerster, Thomas' grand daughter, said that after Thomas retired from the Royal Irish Constabulary, Thomas was a caretaker at an estate called HollyBank, in Cavan, Ireland.
