About Thomas Noyes, Jr.

   The items of this family history were furnished by Mr. F. B. Noyes of Stonington; R.I. Vital Records, and Stonington, Conn. Church Records; Mr. Nathaniel Noyes of Stonington, Conn. (1900): a gggson of Thomas and Judge Richard A. Wheeler, of Stonington (well known as authority in genealogical records in and about Stonington) confirm the record.
   One of the founders of the church at Charlestown and Westerly, Rhode Island May 5, 1742. He was one of the executors of the will of his brother-in-law, Ichabod Palmer, and in 1750, the General Assembly gave him power to sell certain land belonging to the late Ichabod Palmer, in order to satisfy certain claims against the estate.
   By his father's will, his widow and each of his three sons received £100 (the son dying some months before his father's death).
