In the name of God Amen. I Being sick and weeke in body But of sound and perfect memory thanks be to Allmighty God for The same and calling to mind the Transitory things of this life Do hereby make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament Revoking and annulling all other Wills which may hav eben heretofore made in my name –

Item I give and Bequeth unto my Daughter Mary Sorrel a negro woman named Suck when ever she shall return the one she has now in her possession by the name of Priss

Item I give and Bequeth unto my Son Presly one negro man named Samson One Feather bed, one cow and calf, Twenty Barrels of Corn and Two ews & lambs, six pewter plates, on Dish and one Bason.

Item I give and Bequeth unto my son Charles a negro man named Ben, one Feather Bed, one cow & calf, Two ewes and lambs, six pewter plates, one Dish and on Bason.

Item I give unto my Daughter Fennattie Watts one negro woman named Mill

Item I give and Bequeth unto my son Jeremiah one negro Boy named Enoch, a young Horse called Cash, one Feather Bed and Cow & calf, Two ewes and lambs, six pewter plates, one Dish and one Bason.

Item I give and Bequeth unto my Daughter Betsy Watts, one negro girl named Usie, one negro boy named Davis one Horse called Tarlton, one Feather bed, one cow & calf, six pewter plates, one Dish and one Bason.

Item I give and Bequeth unto my son John, one negro boy named Jabral, one Black Two year old filly called Ball, on Feather Bed, on cow and calf, two ewes and lambs, six pewter plates, one Dish and one Bason.

Item I give and Bequeth unto my Daughter Selah Watts one negro boy named Macland, one negro girl named Cate, one sorrel filly called lightfoot, one Feather Bed, one cow and calf, six pewter plates, one Dish and one Bason.

Item – I give and Bequeth unto my son Thomas a negro boy named Adason, one Hors, one Feather Bed, one cow and calf, six pewter plates and Dish and one Bason.

Item – I give and Bequeth unto my son Vinson one negro boy named Lunda and Hors, one Feather Bed and Cow & Calf, six pewter plates, one Dish and one Bason.

Item – I give and Bequeth unto my son Josiah one negro girl named Dolla, one Hors, one Feather Bed, one cow and calf, six pewter Plates and Dish and one Bason.

Item – I now give and Bequeth unto my Beloved wife Hannar Russ Watts During the Term of her natural life the following negroes to wit – Colche, Will, Witch, Winey, Press, Barbara, Sarah, and Patt together with all my stock of every kind and all my Household furniture except what is heretofore Disposed of also all working Tools wagon and gears also all the corn and fodow, Tobacco and every other article which I Posses eighter in in Debts or money which is to keep unmolested her life time and after her Death it is my will that what is left to my wife with the increase shall be equally Divided Between my childred which are her after named to wit Charles Watts, Jeremiah Watts, John Watts, Thomas Watts, Vinson Watts and Josiah Watts. I also give and Bequeth unto my three youngest sons Thomas, Vinson and Josiah Watts all my land after the Death of my wife which is to be equally Dived Between Them.

Given under my hand in the County of Green and state of Georgia this 25th Day of November 1797.

Personally came Oliver Porter, Esq. Before me who by me being duly sworn deposeth that he saw Thomas Watts sign, seal, publish and declare this instrument of writing to and as his last Will & Testament and also that William Stringfellow the other subscribing witness in his presence & in the presence of the testator signed the same as a concurring evidence; and that to the best of his knowledge & belief the testator aforesaid was of sound, perfect & disposing mind & memory at the time of his signing and sealing the same. Sworn to before me this 6th day of Decem. 1897 – Donin the presence & by the approbation of the widow.
