About Thomas Rudd Wingo
He was a doctor and he served during the Civil War (CSA) as a Senior Surgeon in Bell's brigade. He saw action in the Battle of Shiloh. After the war, Thomas practiced medicine as a sideline; most of his time was spent farming.
