Thomas Youd was the son of John & Elizabeth Davis Youd.
He was the husband of Elizabeth Pickles. Died in Spanish Fork City, July 14, of sun stroke or brain fever. He emigrated to Utah in 1851, was a mason and worked upon the public works in Salt Lake City until 1958, when he came to Spanish Fork and has resided here since, with his family. He was born at Tarvin, Cheshire, England, October 11, 1813. He leaves a wife, Elizabeth, and six children, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Ann Jane, John Pickles, Alice Elizabeth, and Emma Selena. He was a kind and devout father, exemplary citizen.
