About Timothy Dwight

Timothy Dwight, b. April 1, 1811, m. May, 11, 1842, Lucy Starr Olmstead (dau. of Zalmon Olmstead of Moreau, N. Y., and, Rebecca Barlow). He was a hardware merchant at New Haven, Ct., and manufacturer of tools (plane-irons, drawing knives, augers, etc.), at Seymour Ct. (then Humphreysville), and also of coach-lace, and afterwards of cars at Chicago, IL. He lived for many years at Beloit, Wis., engaged in various business. Since 1869 he has been engaged in the manufacture of paper, at Chicago. His family resides at South Evanston, IL.
