After the building of the railroad from Karlovac to Rijeka and Senj after the economic collapse, due to transfer of boat traffic in the river, this family emigrated from Senja, and subsequently was not mentioned.

Note from Trevor Rubelli Out of the 11 children. 5 sons immigrated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. USA There are still Rubelli ancestors of the brothers but no surviving individuals who carry the Rubelli Surname in the USA now. One of the 5 brother later went to South Africa (1908) to open up a shipping office in Durban hence the presence of the Rubelli Surname surviving in Africa.
