Walter David Peter Doubell, a Widower and farmer of Steytlerville, received a Special Marriage License on 6 May 1903 to marry Charlotte Marthina Smuts, a spinster of Steytlerville. Charlotte was the daughter of the late Wessel Michael Smuts of Uitenhage.
