He married, on May 25,1922, in Manchester, New Hampshire, with HELEN VIRGINIA CORNING, dau. of Amos G. Corning and Mary E. Young. She was b. 1902 in Derry, New Hampshire. He d. 1965; she 1989; both buried at Joppa Hill Cemetery, Bedford, New Hampshire.

Children were: Beverly M. (1923), Elaine A. (1925), and Walter (1927).
