1670, 72-74, 79, 82: Deputy from Portsmouth, RI.

1672, 76, 82-83: Assistant.

1673, August 13- He and four others were appointed on a committee to prepare matters for the Assembly concerning the Indian's drunkenness, encouragement of the militia, the danger we are in by the late enterprize of the Dutch taking New York, and etc.

1674- Overseer of the Poor.

1676, August 24- He was a member of the Court Martial held at Newport, RI for the trial of certain Indians charged with being engaged in King Philip's designs.
