In July of 1745, Amey Williamson, administrator, returned an inventory of the estate of William Green dec'd. On January 2, 1748 Berryman (Benjamin) Williamson was ordered by the court to deliver the estate of William Green dec'd to Thomas Green, the guardian of said orphans. At a court on 7-20-1748 homas Green, Jr., was appointed guardian of Martha, Amey, Thomas, William, Filmer, and John Green, infants of William Green dec'd. In August, 1748, the court orderd Benjamin and Amey to return an inventory of the estate.

His Will was dated 19 July 1744. He left his son Thomas a tract called "Horsepen", his son William 652 acres "where I live." He left his son Filmer 1000 acres. Each of Williams' daughters, Martha and Amey Green were left a slave. (WB 1, p.43)

Williams' wife was expecting a child when he died, she named him John. (WB 1, p.32 Bonds)

William had bought some 400 acres of land from John Talley on 9 Oct. 1733. The land is now in Amelia County, but at that time was in Prince Edward County, Va. Williams' brother, Abraham also bought 400 acres from the same man at the same time.
