About William Montague

William, second son of Peter "The Immigrant" Montague, lived on Montague's Island in Middlesex, VA. In 1704 he is recorded as having a 700 acre plantation in Middlesex County. William died 7 Dec 1713. The name of his wife is unknown, but was possibly the Hannah Montague whose estate inventory was taken in 1693 in Lancaster Co. Va. William's will named two sons:

  1. William Jr.
  2. Thomas
