He was a freeman of Plymouth in 1633 and later moved to Duxbury. He was a nailer, and his inventory listed tools including a bellows and anvil.

Leftover and likely erroneous -- wrong William, son of first wife

William Sr. PALMER comes to Plymouth on the Fortune in 1621.

Son, William Jr. PALMER comes with William, Sr. to Plymouth on the Fortune in 1621.

+ Frances [Blossom-no?] Palmer (wife of William Sr.) comes on the Anne in 1623.

Daughter, Sarah PALMER [Blossom-no?] married Henry ROWLEY by 1630.

Sarah ROWLEY born in 1630......is age 7 when William Palmer, Sr. dies….cut, not in his will, but Moses is in will..…..maybe she is called Rebecca by the family.

Moses ROWLEY born in 1632………Stephen Partridge given ʄ5 to take him in after William Sr. dies.

Sarah PALMER Rowley and Henry ROWLEY come to Plymouth in 1632.

Sarah PALMER Rowley dies in Summer 1633.

Thomas BLOSSOM dies in July 1633…..leaving wife and three children, Elizabeth age 13, Thomas Blossom age 10, and Peter age 6.

Henry ROWLEY marries Anne ELSDON (b.1590 or before, widow of Thomas Blossom) on 10/17/1633………she would have been 43+……Henry was probably younger………maybe by 20 years……..maybe there is an older Henry Rowley????

William Jr. PALMER marries Elizabeth HODGKINS on 03/27/1634.

William Jr. PALMER. dies in Fall 1637……no children.

Elizabeth HODGKINS Palmer marries John WILLIS on 01/02/1638.

Frances Palmer dies in Summer 1637.

William Sr. PALMER marries Mary ?Trine in 1637.

William Sr. PALMER dies in November 1637.

William Sr. Palmer will leaves a third of estate to 3rd wife, a third to unborn William III Palmer and the rest to Rebecca (grandchild) and Moyses Rowley. Moses Rowley is supposed to be placed with Mr. Partridge……he is about age 5……..mother Sarah is dead. Father, Henry Rowley marries Anne Elsdon Blossom, who has three children. Rebecca [Sarah] must be a sister to Moses…….probably age 7……..must assume that Rebecca [Sarah] stays with her father, Henry Rowley or with Mary Trine, her step-grandmother.

William Sr. Palmer the elder of Duxbury, nailer, left a ʄ5 legacy to Stephen Tracey in his will of 12/4/1637 to have Mr. Partridge take care of Moses Rowley. Sarah Tracey, Stephen's daughter, b. Leiden in 1623 married George Partridge in November 1637….just as William Sr. Palmer is dieing.

William Sr. Palmer thinks that he still may have older children, Bridgett and Henry, who may be alive in England.

William Sr. Palmer says in will that "his wife should be ruled by her ancient Mr. Edward Winslow in her marriage if she look to partake in any part of this estate, otherwise not."…………..??????

William III PALMER is born in 1638.

Other records state that Goodwife Paddock, wife of Robert Paddock, took care of a William Palmer…………maybe Mary Trine lived with the Paddocks also. [Mary Trine married Robert Paddock according to some] --------------------
