  • ' William4 (185. I.), believed to be son of William3 and Grace (Tucker) Wentworth, (see discussion under his father's family,) born about 1707; married, 16 June, 1731, (by Rev. Henry Willes, pastor of 2d Church in Norwich, Conn.), Martha Armstrong. She was a member of the church in Newent, a parish of Lisbon, Conn., until 6 October, 1758; the baptisms of William5 to Hannah5 inclusive, are on the Newent church records. In 1746, William4 lived in Lisbon, where his son Sylvanus5 was born. He lived in Canterbury, Conn., in 1762. He died 25 December, 1792, in Lisbon, near Hanover Meeting-house, about twelve miles from Norwich, aged, according to Lisbon records, 84 years. About a year before he died, he gave a Thanksgiving dinner to his descendants, at which about sixty were present. He willed his homestead to his three single daughters, Hannah,5 Thankful,5 and Zipporah5 ; where they were all living in 1812, and where they all
