Rabbi Issachar Berish Babad

PLEASE NOTE: he could not have married, as his second wife, a daughter of R' Joshua Feiwel Teomim (c1654-c1733). R' Joshua's eldest daughter, Beile, was b. c1685, and would have been only 5 years old at the time of R' Issachar's death. She was likely married to a member of his family, however -- perhaps an unidentified grandson. See Beile Heschel (Teomim).

Issachar Berish of Cracow, Parnas of the Council of the Four Lands, died in 1690 in Cracow. R. Berish was head of the Babad Family (See Xl) "The Unbroken Chain", by Dr. Neil Rosenstein, page 715

It also appears he was married twice, and possibly three times. See Source AJH 3 i.e..

• 1. Daughter of R. Mordechai Yollis of Cracow
• 2. Daughter of R. Joshua Feiwel Teomim (See Chpt. lV)
• 3. Daughter of R. David (died 1698) who was the son of R. Shabtai Kohen (HaShach) who died in 1662.
