   From Pat O'Hara:
Zachariah and Delilah had moved from Garrard Co., KY to Grant Co., KY in about 1813 where he opened up a mercantile business based on the War of 1812 shortages but when the war was over and English goods were no longer embargoed, his business went under. He tried farming but his debt from the mercantile business caused him to lose his farm to creditors. Then in 1824 his wife Delilah died so he certainly had a run of bad luck.
