Arrived in New Zealand in 1907, aged 19, to join fellow villagers and to dig Kauri gum. 1911, naturalised at Waipapakauri as a labourer 1917, registered as an alien under The registration of Aliens Act. 1921, returned to Zivogosce and married Kate Lozina and opened a small store in his hamlet called Strnj. 1937, returned to NZ, later joined by family, gumdigging at Sweetwater near Clem Jurlina his brother-in-law. 1944, settled in Kumeu, where 10 acre block of vines were established, together with cashcrops. 1949, died suddenly.
