1st Marriage 6 January 1729 to Elizabeth, only daughter and heiress of Alexander Dunbar of Westfield. She died 3 June 1746, with issue.

Sir William Dunbar, Baronet, of Hempriggs, who succeeded. He married, first, 6 January 1729, Elizabeth, only daughter and heiress of Alexander Dunbar of Westfield. She died 3 June 1746, with issue. Secondly, 21 March 1747, Jean, daughter of David Sinclair of Southdun. She died 9 August 1749 s.p. And thirdly, 21 October 1749, Henrietta, daughter of Hugh Rose of Kilravock. She died September 1795; issue two sons and three daughters. He died in 1792, leaving issue:--

Sir William Dunbar 2nd Baronet of Hempriggs was born before 1710. He was the son of James Sutherland-Dunbar Bart of Hempriggs and Elizabeth Dunbar.

Sir William Dunbar 2nd Baronet of Hempriggs married Elizabeth Dunbar, daughter of Alexander Dunbar, on 6 January 1728/29 at Scotland.

Sir William Dunbar 2nd Baronet of Hempriggs married secondly Jane Sinclair on 21 March 1747.

Sir William Dunbar 2nd Baronet of Hempriggs married Henrietta Rose on 21 October 1749. She was the second daughter of Hugh Rose of Kilravock.

William died on 12 June 1793.

(58) Sir William Dunbar, second Baronet of Hempriggs, died 1792. He was served heir to his brother, James, 22nd April 1760. He married, first, 6th January 1729, Elizabeth, daughter and heiress of Alexander Dunbar of Westfield, who died 3rd June 1746. He married, second, 2 1st March 1747, Jean, daughter of David Sinclair of Southdun, who died s.p. 9th August 1749. He married, third, 21st October 1749, Henrietta, daughter of Hugh Rose of Kilravock, who died September 1795. By his first wife he had:
