Miss Aurora Adelia Landergren, 22, was born on 19 June 1889, the daughter of Axel and Karolina Landergren she had four siblings She originally lived in Näsgränden, Karlshamn, Blekinge, Sweden but her parents lived on Bodö, Karlshamn.

Adelia had bought a ticket for the Scandinavia-America Line's Fredrik VIII but on her way to Denmark she happened to travel with John Holm and Mauritz Ådahl. They convinced her to follow them to England instead but none of them knew they should go on the Titanic. When they arrived at Southampton they found out that they had been re-booked because of the coal strike.

Adelia later told that she had been helped up to deck by Holm and Ådahl when the ship was sinking. She had went down to her cabin a second time to take some small things, but then found the doors locked. Ådahl helped her to open the door and he and Holm had driven her down in lifeboat 13.

Adelia received $75 from the Red Cross but no damages were paid.

In 1919 she married diamond driller Fredrik Johnson on Bodö but they lived in New York. They had no childeren. Adelia died in New York 2 August 1947 and is buried there.
