Miss Elina Olsson, 31, was born 26 January 1881 the daughter of Ola Olsson. She lived at Södra Brantevik, Nr 34, Östra Nöbbelöv, Simrishamn, Skåne, Sweden.
Elina Olsson had worked as maid in Malmö from 1909 to 1911, Her brother Olof Olsson lived in St. Paul Minnesota and worked as a master builder. Elina was going to him and seek for a place as maid in St. Paul. She travelled with her fiancé, Thure Edvin Lundström. He was on his way to Los Angeles so perhaps Elida was going with him and not to St. Paul but it cannot be confirmed.
They travelled via Copenhagen and boarded the Titanic at Southampton as third class passengers.
According to Lundström the lifeboat he put Elina into capsized, but she never made it to a lifeboat, in any case, by the time the final boats left Lundström had already saved himself in (probably) lifeboat 15.
Elina's body was never found.
The Mansion House Fund paid 875.52 Kr (£48) to father. 911 Kr (£50) damage claims paid to father 2 June 1914.
