Mr George Pond [1], 32, was born in Cambridgeshire.

When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 4 April 1912, he gave his address as the Sailors' Home, (Southampton). His last ship had been the Olympic. As a fireman he received monthly wages of £6.

Pond died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.

Notes 1. He is sometimes listed as "G. Pand". In the articles of agreement his name appears as "S. G. Pond".
