Mr Andrew "Andy" Latimer was born 31 January 1857 at Castle Cottage, Lancaster, Lancashire, England the son of Robert Latimer and Margaret Tate.
He worked for the Dominion Line on the Canada, New England, Commonwealth, Columbia and Vancouver. He came under the employ of White Star when that company took over the Dominion Line. He was Chief Steward of the Teutonic, Cedric, Adriatic, Olympic and finally the Titanic.
Andrew first married Emily Hewitt Wolstenholme on 26 Feb 1880 and had 3 children; Minnie, Margaret (Madge) and George.
Latimer lived at 4 Glenwyllin Road, Waterloo, Liverpool with his second wife Jennie Hamilton. They were married on 1 April 1902 and had 4 children survive; Andrew Hamilton, John Ernest (Jack), William Norman and Janet Hamilton (Jean).
Latimer died in the sinking his body, if recovered, was never identified.
