Hello,
My MGGF was Robert M. (Bob) Malin, DOB 3/01/1884. I have been unable to trace him farther back. He had 2 sons - Orvid and Jim and a daughter (my MGM). Are we somehow related?

Doing well...We are actually on our way back to New York from Florida. I am writing to you from my laptop as we have stopped off in Virginia for the night and should be back home tomorrow morning. My condolences on your Aunt Matilda. We never had met but my Mom knew her a long time ago. I lost an Uncle about two months ago and started a photo album of some family moments with him. I have not had the chance to write some of my thoughts down yet but I hope to do that soon.
Mona, I show Bob and Mildred Malin's children to be Lawrence and Stewart. Doesn't sound like the same person, unless he was married twice. Mildred was married to Hal Levin before she was married to Bob. I have her father's birthdate at 1882, so in order for Bob to be born in 1884, she would have had to marry someone close to her father's age - which seems unlikely.
