When she was 1yr and 5days old, her sister Kerry Ann was born. The sisters played together and loved each other very much. They were thick as thieves and would always be together. Mum use to make their clothes and always looked very chic in whatever their mother would make.
When Roslyn turned 5 she started Grade One at St. Philiminas' Catholic School which changed its name to St William's a couple of years later.
The family were living in Grovely at the time in a rented Council home, but moved when Roslyn finished Grade 3. They moved to 10 Canning Street, Holland Park, Qld. and stayed there until after the death of her father in 1968.
Mum remarried and we all relocated to Esk, Qld on to a farm. This was very different from living in the city. Roslyn use to work like dog on the farm. She loved doing the outside work as well as going to school. Roslyn repeated Year 9 at the new school, Toogoolawah State High and finshed school the following year in Grade 10 as this school finished at year 10 and you had to go to Ipswich to finish years 11-12.
Roslyn went to work in Brisbane and met her first boyfriend. She came back to work in Esk as a domistic in the Esk Hospital. This was her last place of employment as she passed away while working there. Roslyn was only 18 years old at the time of her death.
