Applying for Birth Certificates

Local Persons

Fill out the application form at the Registry department. Give application form to computer clerk. Pay $15.00 at the cash desk when the application form is returned to you. Collect certificate at the cash desk when your number is called.

Overseas persons

Applications are accepted in writing to the Registrar with the following information:

Mother's name, Date of birth, Place of birth, Person's name

Further, a money order to cover the cost of the certificate (E.C.$15.00), and postage, should be included. The money order should be payable to the Registrar of the High Court. Ensure that a return address is submitted.
