This project is to study the lineage and ancestry of Samuel Höchstetter ( ne Samuel/Shmuel Simson) who was born in 1758 in Frankenwinheim, Germany, and migrated to Buttenhausen, Germany, where he died, changing his name somewhere along the way. The name was "anglicized" to Hoechstetter upon the arrival of his children in the US.
