This is a sub-project of the FAKE Profiles. The main goal is to merge all of the Harry Potter profiles while keeping this tree DISCONNECTED to real profiles
Naming Convention
Since all of the profiles are works of fiction - The suffix of the name will contain the word {FICT}. You can also do a geni search for the suffix of "{FICT}" to find all profiles so designated. Currently there ar 968 of these profiles.

Merging Tips:
Some names are repeated in the fictional tree so be especially careful when dealing with the following names so that they are not mixed up:
- Phineas Nigellus Black (1847-1925). Headmaster.
- Phineas Black. The disowned son of Headmaster Phineas N. Black.
- Arcturus Black I
- Arcturus Black II (1884-1959). Youngest son of Phineas Nigellus Black and Ursula Flint. He married Lysandra Yaxley.
- Arcturus Black III (1901-1991). Eldest son of Sirius Black II and his wife Hesper Gamp.
- Regulus Black I (1906-1959) Son of Sirius Black II and Hester Gamp.
- Regulus Black II (1961-1979). Son of Orion Black and Walburga Black.
- Cygnus Black I. (1829-after 1850)
- Cygnus Black II (1889-1943) son of Phineas Nigellus Black and Ursula Flint.
- Cygnus Black III (1938-1992). Son of Pollux Black and Irma Crabe.
- James Potter I (1960-?) Father of Harry Potter, married Lily Evans.
- James Potter II (2004-) Eldest child of Harry and Ginny Potter
- Sirius Black I (1845-1853). Died at age 8.
- Sirius Black II (1877-1952). Son of Phineas Nigellus Black and Ursula Flint and husband of Hester Gamp.
- Sirius Black III (1959-1996). Also known as "Padfoot". Son of Orion and Walburga Black. Friend of James Potter Sr. and later the godfather to Harry Potter.
- Fred Weasley (1978-1998). Son of Arthur and Molly Weasley and twin brother to George.
- Fred Weasley II (c. 1998-). Son of George Weasley and Angelina Johnson
- Lily Evans Potter (1960-1981). Sister to Petunia, married to James, mother of Harry Potter. Childhood friend of Severus Snape. She was killed by Vodlemort.
- Llily Potter (c. 2008-). Daughter of Harry Potter and Gini Weasley Potter.
- Nymphadora Tonks Lupin preferred to be known by her last name only as "Tonks". She married Remus Lupin. She was killed by her aunt Bellatrix Lestrange.
- Do not confuse Albus Dumbledore headmaster and Albus Potter (son of Harry Potter)
Harry Potter Character Names in non-English Languages
For example "Moaning Myrtle" is known as "Maulende Myrte", "Jammerende Jennie" and Stønne-Stina depending in what language you are reading.

Clicking on the links below will produce a geni.com search for the name. Note that some names in the Harry Potter book and movie series are very common for example "Lily Evans" and may well be shared with actual people.
RPG Roll Playing Tree:
witherwings was a roll playing site active in 2009-2011 and an archived view of the old website can be viewed here.
A large fake tree based on the game is currently on geni and has 424 family members. It doesn't belong on geni and should be removed.

You'll notice that most of the profiles don't have obvious Harry Potter related names like Potter, Weasley or Black. But doing Google searches for most of the names will show that they were part of the witherwings web site in 2009 or 2010. In fact the witherwings web site indicates that players of the game purposely had to invite their own names for their characters and couldn't use canonical Harry Potter names. One of the persons playing the game on line must have used geni to track his fake characters and family. The entire tree should be deleted.

The user who built tree is Maximilian Hawksmoor which is one of the fictional characters in the RPG game.
